Positive: The owner is every nice, and the apartment is near to the airport and port..we enjoy to stay☺️

A lovely studio apartment and great for easy access to the ferry port. Positive: The apartment was just fine, well-equipped and comfortable. Others had commented on the noise from overhead flights but that didn't bother us at all. We used the washing machine before moving on in our travels, so that was a bonus. The apartment is perfectly located for access to the ferry port - we had an early sailing and staying so close saved both time and money in getting to the port. Negative: There was nothing wrong with the apartment but we weren't keen on Heraklion itself and wished that we had only stayed for one night before our ferry. We stayed for 3, thinking it would be good to explore the city but it was disappointing after the other places in Crete that we had stayed (Chania and Rethymno). We had some really great food at a variety of restaurants and took advantage of the good-value hop-on/hop-off bus around town and out to the beach areas. Otherwise, we wouldn't recommend staying more than a night Heraklion.

Nice appartement 20-25 away from the centre. Positive: Clear instructions, easy to get in Negative: The fact that the airport was THAT close. My own fault I didn't check on the map how close it is. But i guess for someone who's taking the plane early morning or arriving late at night it IS a brilliant location.

Definitely great for a short stay. Very comfortable. Possibly not suited to elderly people people. Positive: Close to port (Walking distance) Negative: (Very close to airport, so very noisy with planes)
